About producedude

The produecedude story began in 2014 when Andy Kemp, the produce dude himself, became the sole owner of A&A Produce Company. He set out to serve the Grand Strand with his farming expertise, culinary education, and good old-fashioned hometown pride.

He came from a family with rich agricultural experience and unique knowledge of the Grand Strand area. He knew the beach, and he knew how to out-service his competition. And so he did.

For nearly a decade now, he has committed to carrying the Kemp family tradition of exceptional products, affordable prices, and standout service to the Carolinas.

Strong Ties

A quality that sets Andy apart is how highly he values connecting with others. As a seasoned broadliner worker, he knows the ins and outs of large-scale food distribution. Even so, he prefers connecting with potential clients in person instead of relying on others to network for him.

In addition to Horry County, this positive approach has led producedude to supply the greater Charleston and greater Wilmington areas with the best produce South Carolina has to offer.

Quality & Qualified

Need another reason to give producedude a try?

Andy was previously chosen as one of 10 produce professionals in the Southeast to join the elite STEP-UPP program. This enriching program gives youth the hands-on agricultural experience they need to understand the produce industry better.

I work with an outstanding team that has done it all in the food industry. We also keep current with the latest news and events in the ever-changing restaurant world, from the latest trends and market news to the most urgent sanitation and health issues.

I look forward to learning and growing, making new contacts, and taking produce to the next level.

Most of all, I look forward to working with you! Whether you’re just starting or running a seasoned restaurant, my team and I are here for you every step of the way.
